Throughout the entire Ascension Holiday weekend, over 2000 rosebushes fill the Benedict XII Cloister with their fragrant blooms, and the general public has the chance to discover the great rose growers’ latest creations.
After last year’s success with the combination rose/clematis show, Alterarosa once again stages a floral combination for 2010 on the theme of “fragrances from the south of France”. Lavender, thyme, rosemary, santoline and savoroy add their fragrant note to the Alterarosa weekend.

Approximately 82 movies of 28 different nationalities, come five continents are scheduled: all short films of the past year were outdone somewhere else. Three Grand Prizes - Le Soleil d'Or, Le Sable d'Argent and La Mer de Bronze – - awarded by a professionals' international jury to the future big names of the cinema.
The public (filmgoing, tourist, regional, school, young) becomes the spectator of a unique festival which contributes to write the history of the world short film, validated by the criticism and the professionals.
