On Saturday, 25 July 2009, a stage of the Tour de France bicycle race will be run in the Ventoux. As of Monday, 20 July, as a curtain raiser, cycling enthusiasts will also be able to take part in the "L’étape du Tour - Mondovelo" event that will use the same route. So that the many spectators may get to see these two major sporting events in the best possible conditions, and to make traffic easier, safety instructions have been issued and parking restrictions as well as relief routes will be in place.

The massifs which encircle the Country of Aubagne are visited by pedestrian or equestrian hikers (short or large walks) but also, more and more, by stunt bikers.
The GR9, (the French Riviera hike path) crosses the Sainte Baume Mountain by Saint Zacharie.
